Sweater #DIY Week Continues!!

Sweater Handwarmer DIY
Well guess what? We have more sweater #DIYs coming your way. As you may recall we had one $4.00 Goodwill sweater that I cut up and tried to make as many things as I could think of. First, I made a neck warmer/scarf from the cowl neck. Then I made a cute cuff for my reusable Starbucks cup, then came mittens, an Ipad cover was next, and today is a little drawstring bag to put some adorable handwarmers in! Whew!! That was exhausting. (Don’t worry, I had a few stunt-sewers to help me out.)
Sweater Bag DIY

Each arm is a tube. First you cut off the size that you would like. Turn inside out. Stitch the bottom closed with a narrow zig zag stitch. The turn right side out and crate a hem on the top. Fold over about 3/4 of and inch and sew a seam around the top. (Creating a space to string the cord through.) Make sure you leave a small space to string a cord through. Then you can go back and stitch the opening if you need to. There you have it! An adorable sweater bag to hold your equally adorable handwarmers!! (tutorial coming soon!)
