What do you mean Valentine’s Day is Thursday?
I went to a new thrift store called the Second Time Shop. It is located in Denver on Happy Canyon and Hampden. It’s run by the Junior League of Denver. You really should go check it out! The merchandise is upscale, and the workers are really sweet and helpful.
I found these over-sized Crate and Barrel mugs there and knew they would be perfect for Valentine’s Day! Did you know that you can use a Dry Erase Marker (NOT a Sharpie) on a glossy mug and it will wipe right off? Well it does! The possibilities are endless!!
(Do a little test on the bottom of your thrifted mug. I don’t need any lawsuits around here.)
One for the Mister and the Missus. (I personally would have a heart attack if my husband grew a mustache. It would take him about two days, but mustaches creep me out. Consequently, If I wore that much lipstick my husband would be equally creeped out. We are quite the pair.)
We aren’t very bat-your-eyes-lovey-dovey around here so this is the perfect family saying for me! I write this on every card and sing it to all my family members on their brithdays. Of course you wish you lived with me.
These are for Katie the Intern and me. You may have seen her adorable face all over this blog. She “works” for me which mostly means Starbucks at 3:00 sharp (Coincidence that it the same time the local Boys Jesuit High School school lets out? You be the judge.) and sometimes Dr. Phil with a little bit of work thrown in for good measure.
Try thrifting at The Second Time Shop and let me know what you think!
